1.	What is LockItTight?
	LockItTight (LiT for short) provides computer tracking and monitoring services for theft recovery assistance and parental control purpose. After you sign up, and install the client software on your computer, the client software will consistently report locations, screen captures, webcam shots, key logs and clipboard messages from your computer to the servers of LockItTight.com. You can access the information reported by your protected computer from anywhere on any computer. You may also retrieve and delete files on the monitored computer remotely from another computer.
2.	How much does it cost?
	There is a basic service available for everyone, free of charge. Currently all of our operating cost is incurred from the free service. Your support to this service in donation is highly appreciated. Please support if you can. We have also introduced paid services with more devices per user, more features, higher report frequency and capture image size. Please review the details if you need these services with higher reporting frequency and quality.

4.	How do I install the client software?
	You may download the client installer and follow the very easy guide to install it.
5.	How do I un-install the client software?
	The client software will be automatically un-installed shortly after the you delete a device from your account on the server.
6.	How do I update the client software?
	The client software automatically updates itself to the latest version we post on our server. In case there are problems with the automatic updating, you may also download the latest client software here and install it manually.
7.	What is the LockItTight tray icon for?
	The tray icon [] on the Windows task bar shows that LockItTight client is running. It also prevents abusive anonymous usage of the software to spy on a legitimate computer user without his or her knowledge. There are however cases where stealth mode monitoring is both legitimate and useful, one such usage is parental monitoring. Currently only paid users with verified identify have the option to hide the tray icon. We have parents turning the icon off, and we have parents leaving it on letting the kids know they are being monitored. Free user's identity can't be verified and as a result the tray icon is always displayed.

9.	Why is my location not accurate?
	When wifi is not available on the computer, turned off, or the surrounding wi-fi signals are insufficient, the positioning method falls back to IP geo-mapping, which is much less accurate. We use Skyhook’s WPS (WiFi Positioning System) for locating the computers. The coverage of Skyhook WPS is usually very accurate in most part of North America, Europe, Australia and parts of Asia. Skyhook is constantly improving their geo-mapping database for other areas in the world. However, it’s a huge task and it takes time. If your area does not have good Shyhook coverage, even if you have wi-fi signals, you may not get accurate location, since the location of the wi-fi routers may not be available for the calculation. You can check the wi-fi coverage in your area here. A quicker way to improve the accuracy now is to submit the location of your wi-fi access points to Skyhook. This would benefit all who uses Skyhook for location based applications including LockItTight. The more people submit locations, the more accurate the locations will be for that area.
