Topic: Camera Capture Related Discussions / Webcam Question Hi Christopher, Thanks for your feedback. We really appreciate it. Regarding to webcam issue, it seems that ManyCam creates a virtual Webcam which hijacks the actual installed camera. Unfortunately LockItTight client software could not differentiate the real webcam and the virtual ManyCam. However, it should be fine if the ManyCam virtual webcam works and captures images. Is there a control in ManyCam software to start the webcam manually or automatically? Thanks, |

Topic: Camera Capture Related Discussions / Webcam Question My webcam captures are all a picture of a manycam logo. Manycam is a third party service I use in conjuction with Skype to run my webcam but it isn’t my webcam. Is there a way to route lockittight to my actual webcam versus a third party software to take advantage of the webcam tracking? I looked around in control panel to see if maybe there was something to change but nothing is jumping out at me. I can’t figure out out why it would use manycam as the source for my camera grabs. I am using Windows Vista Home Premium x64 on a Gateway P7805u if that matters at all. Thanks. P.S. Thanks for the software, the screen grabs and location tracking are working great. I can narrow down my location to within about 100 meters give/take. |

Topic: All Reports Related Discussions / no images, location not precise Hi Daniel, Please let us know your computer model, as well as the camera model. Regarding the location, ~0.5 miles is very accurate to me, considering it is not a GPS and also considering the location error in some part of the world is more than 100 km. I agree with you that it will be hard to to find a thief based on the location information alone. But the idea of LiT is to increase the chance to get your computer back with the combined information (location, screen, camera) submitted to police. Thanks, |

Topic: All Reports Related Discussions / no images, location not precise I installed lockittight yesterday. All ‘images’ captured were just black screens even though I was often at my computer when my camera flashed blue light. All locations captured have been the same (makes sense, since laptop hasn’t moved). This location is ~.5 mile from true location, not much use in finding a thief in a city. |

Topic: General Discussions / Setting changes LiT Admin, thank you for responding. When you checked it was 60 mins because I had not logged out after making the change. I stayed logged in for at least 25 minutes. As soon as I saw your response, I logged out and logged right back in and setting is back to 120 mins. Also, I tested this with Firefox 3.6.13 with the same results. |

Topic: General Discussions / Cannot delete? Hi, I haven’t tried SRWare yet. But I tried Chrome 8.0.552.224. The pictures are shown correctly and the delete works fine. Also I could not find information regarding Chrome 10. Was it a typo? Thanks, |
